Policies

At Rural Media, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of governance, accountability and ethical practice in all aspects of our work. As a media education charity and arts organisation, we recognise our responsibility to ensure that our operations, programmes and partnerships are conducted with integrity, transparency and care.

We have a suite of organisational policies that guide how we work, including (but not limited to) policies on safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, data protection, environmental sustainability, health and safety, and financial management. Each policy is designed to protect the people we work with, uphold our values, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Our policies are reviewed and approved by our Board of Trustees on a regular basis to ensure they remain current, effective and aligned with best practice. We provide training and guidance to our staff, freelancers and partners to support consistent implementation across all areas of our activity.

Through these measures, Rural Media seeks to create a safe, respectful and fair environment for everyone we work with, and to deliver our charitable mission responsibly and sustainably.

Copies of our key organisational policies are available here.
