Solicitor qualified over 20 years ago, based in Hereford. Now a senior partner in the Agriculture and Estates Team at top 60 UK law firm HCR having grown and the led Hereford office from a standing start in 2012 and led the firm’s Real Estate team through national organic growth and through mergers to a headcount of over 200. I have been a trustee of Rural Media for 7 years and seen the board at RM evolve and develop over the years. I see my role on the board as one to support in decision making at a strategic level having particular regard to regulatory and financial risk. Also of key importance to me is having an eye to the long term sustainability of the charity and ensuring that the talent in the organisation is recognised and nurtured so that the organisation is taken on into the future in a better state than when I can I came to it. I am on the board of partners at HCR, formerly chaired the board of Hereford Business Improvement District, sat on the board of Hereford Futures (which delivered the Old Market Development) and sat on Hereford Business Board. These appointments have given me some varied experience of the operation of different decision making groups and I feel I can support board members / trustees in identifying the decisions of the day and how to collectively input into them.
