A perfect example of our Charity ethos, this charity film serves not only the client, but also the people they help, and film students in need of practical, real-world shooting experience.
Produced as both a commission and as an educational project for the students on the Hereford College of Arts BA (Hons) Short Filmmaking, which Rural Media co-administers, this short film for Ride 2 Achieve focuses on the charity's inspirational work providing bespoke support to disabled horse riders who wish to achieve their full riding and therapeutic potential.
We developed the concept with the students, providing them with a full brief, then guided them through production and post-production, with the added real-world pressure of it having to hit our own professional standard. The final film provides a clear summary of Ride 2 Achieve's activities by using beautiful slow motion photography to communicate the connection between horse and rider.
