Martin Hitchin is the Chief Executive at Rehau Ltd, an experienced senior professional with a successful thirty-five-year track record in the manufacturing and construction business. Martin started with REHAU back in 1988 as an Applications Engineer then progressed to become Technical Manager, Technical Director and then Sales and Marketing Director. In January 2007 Martin was made CEO at Rehau Ltd. He has key expertise in people management, product development, focused account management, strategic marketing and has extensive technical and commercial experience.
Martin studied at Coventry University where he gained a degree in Combined Engineering before going on to do his post graduate training in China, followed by an MSc at North London University in Polymer Science and Engineering. He has completed various training courses over the years such as the Sales Director course at Ashridge Business School and Malik Management Summer School at the University of St. Gallen.
In addition to his role at REHAU Martin sits on the board of the European Converters association (EuPC) as well as other related trade associations. Martin is also the vice Chair of NMiTE a start up Engineering University in Hereford.
On a more personal note, Martin enjoys road cycling. He is heavily involved in the Arts locally supporting a number of artists as well as a trustee of Rural Media Charity.
